Our Founder
Dominique Perret, a passionate pioneer who fights for a cause
Voted Best Freerider of the Century at the Board Awards in Paris, he is considered a pioneer in the sport. Beyond his role as an athlete, he is an Engineer, Marketing Expert, and Product Developer for the ski industry and the first athlete in the world to become “carbon positive.” After nearly 30 years in the field, Dominique was deeply affected by the loss of 28 colleagues, highlighting a crucial issue: the lack of education. Convinced that prevention and training save lives, he co-founded WEMountain to evolve mountain practices toward a safer future. His passionate fight for safety and knowledge-sharing inspires our entire approach.
