According to studies, 90% of avalanches are triggered by the victim or a member of their party. That’s why 80% of our program is dedicated to risk prevention and avalanche avoidance. Your safety starts with education.
How to AVOID and prevent risk
Ride in your zone of pleasure, freedom, and safety! Learn to better understand yourself and your environment, as well as the human and environmental risk factors. Discover specific terrains, additional sources of information, and learn how to adapt your decisions. That’s 80% of the course.
How to REACT positively in an avalanche
Trouble has begun! Whether you’re a witness or caught in an avalanche, learn how to control and channel your survival instinct during the event. That’s 10% of the course.
How to manage a RESCUE successfully
It’s a race against death! Learn the vital steps to positively and successfully manage a rescue. That’s 10% of the course.
